How long have you lived in Pawleys Island? I live in Surfside Beach, about a half hour drive from Pawleys Island. My family and I moved here 22 years ago from New Jersey and never looked back! We love the SC coast and have made it our home.
What are your hobbies? Since we live at the beach, we enjoy every spare minute we can at our beautiful SC beaches! Between lazy Sunday afternoons sitting and relaxing with a good beach read or taking our dogs for long walks down to the end of Garden City where they can swim and play.
Favorite thing about Pawleys Island? The people! Anywhere you go in Pawleys, you will find smiling faces (and beautiful places)!
Favorite Local Restaurant? I like to try new restaurants around town. One of my favorite local restaurants is Pawleys Island Tavern (The PIT)! The PIT is “classically shabby” where we are able to bring our puppies and sit outside to enjoy a cold drink, great burger and listen to some amazing local bands.
If you only had a few days to spend on Pawleys Island, what would you recommend doing? There is so much to do around town, how do you choose! One of my favorite things to do in Pawleys is to meet up with my friends go to the Hammock Shops for some boutique shopping then stopping for nice long lunch to catch up and have some laughs. Such a great day out with girlfriends!
