My wife and I live in California, and we chose the Murrells Inlet/Pawleys Island area to relocate and settle in for the next season of our lives. We visited last May to get a feel for the areas and then made another trip in November to really see actual properties and choose an agent. We “shopped” for real estate companies online and felt by other reviews that Pawleys Island Realty would be the company we would choose. Now, came picking an agent. We both agreed reading Scott’s bio that he was the agent we wanted to assist and represent us. Scott was very knowledgeable of the area, and we set up quite a few houses to view in the three days we had to look. Most of all the contenders as he listed close and were adept as to what our needs and desires were. He has exceeded what an ordinary agent would have done in so many aspects of our transaction. Great Experience! Scott helped me make our transition from GA to SC as smooth as it could possibly be. He was extremely patient with us as we worked through our “want” list and guided us toward houses that matched as closely as possible to what we were looking for. He was always available when we had questions and when we were able to make quick trips down to the area, often with very little notice. Once we were under contract, Scott assisted us greatly with choosing our lender, closing attorney, home inspector, painter, and insurance agency. He even helped us secure assistance for unloading our storage pods! His professionalism, knowledge of the area, and communication were second to none. Dana was there when we needed her to meet with a painter and cleaners and checked on the property often to make sure it was in tip-top shape. Tom was available to speak with us, was extremely pleasant and friendly (and a fellow New Jerseyian!) He was knowledgeable with the properties we were interested in. We were only in town for 3 days.
