I stayed in this house 20 + years ago with friends when it was owned by a different owner. It has the same uncomfortable living room teachers lounge furniture that it had then. It sleeps 15 but doesn’t have enough chairs to seat 15 at the tables. Kitchen could use more cooking utensils… especially cooking spoons. Needs fans on screened porch and a couple more rocking chairs for the porch. The tub is soft when you step into it which could be a serious problem! I offer these suggestions because I am a part owner of a family ocean front beach house that we are rebuilding this year so I know what people want and need.

Second year at this house and we experienced several issues. HVAC leaking water in laundry room downstairs, widow that wouldn't close and no screens, broken chair in dining room, ceiling fan with no chain so couldn't use to name the small issues. Main issue this year was a significant plumbing problem that was not quickly resolved leaving us without working bathrooms or showers for about 30 hours... along with unsanitary conditions in the house. We reported the issue at 2 in the afternoon. The plumber the owner wanted used showed up at 12:30 am and worked until 2 am with no solution. We got no sleep that night and two days of our vacation were significantly affected. Pawleys Island Realty tried to help but it seemed their hands were tied by owner. Next year we will try somewhere else with a different owner.

Tideways had everything we needed for a lovely week at the beach. Location is excellent with a very short walk to the beach (no streets to cross!). Bedrooms are good size. Kitchen is small for the number of people staying here, and very dated but that was ok for us. Would definitely stay here again.
