Sleep & Eat

This is our 2nd year to rent this house. We love being right on the beach … the comfy large screen porch for sunrises … and the porch overlooking the creek for sunsets. The games and toys provided for children are appreciated! As well as the wine offered … we thoroughly enjoyed the one bottle we opened. The only minor and somewhat negative thing I’ll say is there was no dish or dishwasher soap provided, and no extra trash bags. I’m used to arriving with at least a couple pods and liners for starters. Fortunately I travel with those because there’s never enough for the entire week. That being said, we’ll book again for next year!!

We absolutely loved this home! This home has everything. Not perfection, which makes it so desirable, it's a well worn and well loved beach home. Built for comfort! Each bedroom has it's own entry door - for napping and sleeping babies! The moment all 8 adults, and two toddlers arrived we felt at home! The view of the OCEAN (sun rises) and BAY (Sunsets) is unmatched! Decks GALORE! Love how the owners have lived and loved and 'share' this home! It is lovingly equipped with delights for both adults and especially children. We travelled from Seattle and the Rental Agency did not have detailed amenity information as we desired. I will include below many of the items supplied and in the home that the agency is unaware of. Amenities included: A large deck bench FILLED with Children's beach toys! SUPER FUN! Outdoor shower and hose Electrical hookup for an Electric Vehicle French press Large Coffee grinder (I brought one- UGH) One Large Drip Coffee Pot Blow dryers - we brought from WA and there were plenty of blow dryers! Ugh! So many inside toys, building blocks and CRAFTS for children Comfortable seating for 10 on the back porch (we lived here!) and benches on all the decking! A game table with fun card games and puzzles Placemats and Linen napkins Lovely selection of paperback books and Pawleys Coffee table books! Nice assortment of basic kitchen supplies, spices and even coffee! As mentioned, in another review, well stocked kitchenware and utensils. Even crab utensils! Blender Wine Cooler - So helpful with all the beer, sparkling waters we stocked Bar area with Glassware and a separate sink! Fridge has a terrific Ice and Water dispenser However, NO CROCK POT The downstairs front bedroom was not cooling properly. Within less than 3 hours we had a response team arrive, and the next day a NEW A/C unit was installed. AMAZING! Could some Bathroom deep cleaning happen? Sure - but it didn't bother us! Garbage disposal leaks - but a bucket is beneath. I'm sure it's been repaired. Some Visitor suggestions for a great Vacay: Order the Island Club Linen Package - lovely towels, linens and the beds were all made upon our arrival. And a lovely canvas bag filled with goodies! Hire "SeaSide Chairs & Umbrellas".com - Ask for Robert! The Cabana, 4 chairs and ice cooler were set up everyday by 8am and taken down daily at 7pm. Incredible service and the best shade for daily beach hangs! Coveted by our relatives down the beach! Say YES to Sleep and Eat! We will in the future!

We found the property to be as advertised. There was a bedroom with children’s books and toys that was a bonus. It was furnished with lots of personal items that made it feel more like home.

Very comfortable, cute, beachy cottage. Kitchen well outfitted, beds comfy. The view out the front and side, and the sound of the surf: spectacular. Great value.
