While this mid island retreat operates as an inn from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend, it is available as a whole house rental during the offseason, providing an extraordinary opportunity for family reunions, weddings, and other special events.

Built in the 1840s, The Pelican Inn is steeped in history and has served as a quiet retreat for families for generations. With private ocean access to a secluded stretch of Pawleys Island beach, a grand creek dock and expansive porches, this property invites you to experience life on the island as it was meant to be.

Amenities include a large restaurant style commercial kitchen with an attached dining area, making it easy to prepare meals for large groups. The inn also features a grill, and an oceanfront gazebo complete with a hammock. For those planning special events, please note that an event fee of $3000.00 will be added to the normal rental rate even for small (30 people or less) group events.

For your peace of mind, the property has security cameras that monitor the exterior for visual, no audio, purposes only. There are no cameras inside the property.
