Welcome to Paradise. This beautifully appointed 4-bedroom, 3.5 bath home offers the ideal combination of direct beach access and serene creekfront living. A short, private boardwalk leads you straight to the beach, no roads to cross, while the back of the home opens to sweeping sunset views over the creek from a spacious deck. Guests also enjoy access to a shared covered creek dock (shared with the front home, As It Was). With both beach and creek at your fingertips, this property truly offers the best of both worlds.

After a fun-filled day at the beach or enjoying the creek with crabbing, fishing, paddleboarding, and more, rinse off in the enclosed outdoor shower with both hot and cold water, a convenient touch that adds to the comfort of your stay.

The home features 4 bedrooms: upstairs includes 3 twin beds, while the main floor offers 3 queen bedrooms. There are 3 full bathrooms and 1 half bath.

Traveling with extended family or another group? This home pairs seamlessly with the neighboring property, As It Was, creating an ideal setup for families or groups who want to stay close while still enjoying their own space. The homes offer the option to easily connect porch-to-porch, yet each property also maintains its own sense of privacy, so you can be as together or as separate as you'd like. No pets.

Wonderful Beach Retreat

We have stayed at this wonderful beachside retreat three times and we have loved it every time! It has its own private boardwalk to the beach, a sneak peek ocean view from the living room, and a great big porch and hammock overlooking the most beautiful sunsets on the marsh. Plus an outdoor shower and access to a dock on the marsh. We had a couple families staying here and were very comfortable. The bonus bedroom upstairs is a great place for the kids to sleep while the adults enjoy three bedrooms with full size beds downstairs. The area is full of homes rather than big high rises, which means the beach isn't crowded. We definitely look forward to future trips to Paradise!

Great Location

This home offers all you’ll need to enjoy a relaxing day at the beach or a fun-filled vacay with family & friends. Steps away from the ocean and inlet. It’s magical and serenity all in one.

Perfect OG PI House

420 Myrtle is a great spot for families with its private beach access and dock on the creek. It’s on a quiet section of the main road - you are almost right in the middle of the island. Personally, it’s my favorite original PI house. The front porch and back deck are perfect for a late evening cocktail or early morning coffee. Very clean and cozy!

Perfect Location

This is the perfect relaxation spot. I enjoyed my coffee most mornings from the front porch overlooking the creek. We loved the dock for fishing and crabbing (great sunset view as well)! We watched the sunrise over the ocean which is a few short steps from the back door down the boardwalk. We saw dolphins jumping, found shark teeth and our girls loved swimming in the ocean. We will definitely be back!

The perfect family vacation

Our family found this house to be the most perfect combination of ocean and marsh living while we were at Pawleys Island. We could quickly go down to the beach or fish off the dock to keep everyone entertained. The rooms are spacious with very large closets and everything is ready for you in the kitchen. A large couch in the living room led to many games and laughs each evening. There is plenty of parking, very rare on the island. The outdoor shower was one of our favorite features.
