Blynken is Pawleys Island at its best: “arrogantly shabby” (the town’s slogan) in the most endearing way. The owners have carefully maintained and restored it’s original build/character, with a wrap-around creekside porch with hammocks, rocking chairs, and even a local cat (older than some residents) who still makes his rounds. You won’t see the ocean from here, but it’s just a few boardwalk steps to the east, and you get to see your neighbors along the way. And that’s what really makes it special: the connected boardwalks between houses where you can meet neighbors who have kept Pawleys a family tradition as long our family has, sharing crab trap checks, porch talks, and beach walks. A house full of history, charm, and good people, what a blessing for the owners to have preserved it so well for families like ours to rediscover and enjoy. Thank you very much, from the White family
