The kid's loft room includes a twin bunk bed and a twin roll away, perfect for children or extra guests.
A Tipsy Turtle combines the simple charm of a 1952 beach home with elegant whimsical updates. The interior is adorned with pastel beachy colors that create a relaxing atmosphere. The bright new kitchen features a double oven, microwave, and center island sink with a magnificent creek view, making it a pleasure to prepare meals. A unique coffee bar adds a fun twist to your mornings, while new windows invite refreshing marsh breezes throughout the home.
Please note that pets are not allowed. With a maximum occupancy of 8 guests, A Tipsy Turtle is the perfect spot for your next beach vacation. No Smoking or Vaping on the premises (Includes inside property or outside of the property). Creek dock is no longer an amenity for A Tipsy Turtle starting 5/27/2025.

My family booked later than usual for our annual Pawleys vacation and with only 5 of us needing a cottage this year we saw this one and thought it looked so cute online and such it was. For those remembering the Pawleys of yesteryear, especially pre-Hugo, this cottage provides that nostalgic feel. The owner , who knocked on our door during our stay to deliver a gift, told us about her ongoing updates. The kitchen has been modernized and she explained some remodeling done to provide extra bedrooms, nice walk-in showers, a beautiful backyard meant for entertaining family or friends. She is an artist and has painted not only some of the walls with vibrant colors, but ocean pictures which brings a serenity to the cottage. There are shells galore throughout the cottage, books to read, DVD's to watch, games to play. And much to our chagrin, my daughter-in-law was doing her morning workout in the carport area when a large box turtle decided to entertain her as he walked along her "gym." Truly a Tipsy Turtle moment! Thank you, Dana, for sharing the cottage you have known all your life and making sure we were taken care of. Good luck to you as you continue updates as well as you rent another special place this year on the south end.
