For those situations and more, Pawleys Island Realty has partnered with RedSky Travel Insurance to offer trip insurance coverage for your reservation. This coverage provides peace of mind that in the event of an unforeseen covered emergency, your funds on deposit will be insured.
Trip insurance can help protect you before your arrival and during your trip. Coverage includes trip cancellation, trip interruption, travel delay, baggage delay, loss or theft of personal items, and accidents or illness. Your plan cost is based on the total price of your vacation rental.
Plan highlights include:
• Reimbursement of up to $100,000 for rental costs
• $200 per day (up to a maximum of $750) for expenses related to a trip delay, such as hotel accommodations
• Coverage for emergency medical expenses and emergency medical evacuation
• Coverage of up to $1000 for baggage delay
Additional benefits during your stay include 24/7/365 travel assistance and rental car damage coverage. The plan covers trip cancellation or interruption for listed unforeseen covered events including:
• Mandatory evacuation due to a named hurricane or other natural disaster
• A natural disaster rendering your destination vacation home uninhabitable
• A natural disaster rendering your primary residence or your traveling companion’s primary residence uninhabitable
• Sickness, injury or death of you, a family member, a traveling companion or a service animal
• Military leave revocation or reassignment
