If you would like to attend Sunday Services during your trip to Pawleys Island, you’re welcome to join the congregation at the Pawleys Island House of Worship, commonly known as the Chapel.
From June through August, outstanding ministers from many states, as well as local ministers, hold interdenominational services at the Chapel each Sunday at 10:00 am. The Chapel is now in its 78th year of serving the Pawleys community. Located on the marsh side of the Island at 391 Myrtle Avenue, the sanctuary has beautiful nature views. With seating for 150, the Chapel is a perfect setting for celebrating marriages, baptisms, and other special occasions. Each year, approximately 20 weddings take place there. From early Fall through late Spring, the Chapel can be reserved for weddings, baptisms, and memorial services. All ceremonies must be conducted by an ordained minister. Many summer residents and locals have generously supported the Chapel through the years and donations are always welcome.
