This fabulous oceanfront 7 bedroom property, located mid-island in the beautiful historic district, is a Pawleys favorite for large family or group vacations. The original Pawleys-style cottage has been renovated, including an elevator for easy entry from the covered carport into the house (one of the few on the island!). A more recent guest bedroom wing is attached. The main house has two large living rooms which are connected by a fully-equipped modern kitchen. The ocean view living room has a dining area with a large old-fashioned lazy susan round table and opens onto the oceanfront screened porch. The other living room, with a reading library and game table, opens onto to a screened porch under low country oak trees. The extra-large oceanfront master King bedroom/bath suite and two Queen bedrooms with shared bath, and a modern laundry room are on the main level. Downstairs are two bedrooms (one Queen, one Twins), each with half bath, adjacent to a private outside hot-water shower. The newer guest wing has two large bedrooms, each with a private bath, (one King, one Twins)

Two screened porches with ocean and marsh views and ceiling fans, are great for enclosed outdoor entertaining. The oceanfront deck and gazebo are perfect for sunbathing or relaxing in the shade while rocking in chairs and watching beach activities below. A rooftop deck offers privacy for sunbathing and sunset views of the Pawleys creek. The paved ground level deck is a great place for children's play, swinging in the rope hammock and BBQ grilling. A private covered dock on the marsh offers creek access for crabbing, fishing, shrimping, boating or cocktail sunset gazing!

A rare island home amenity is the house elevator. All rooms have ceiling fans and air conditioning. There are 3 TVs (42" HD flat screen in oceanfront LR), DVD, wireless internet high speed service and an I-pod docking station. All major kitchen appliances are fairly new, along with a second refrigerator, ice maker, and complimentary bottled water. There are two outdoor showers and a circle driveway among the trees with ample covered and uncovered parking spaces. An elevator is available for use as well.
