We have vacationed in this home for several years but have sorrowfully outgrown the space due to a growing number of grandkids. The new owners have made great updates; however, the location is still the best part of this home. The crabbing and fishing is excellent from the dock. The creek porch is perfect for rocking babies and reading. It is a quick walk to the beach although we typically drive the "beach stuff" to the public parking early in the morning. You can walk in the creek to crab or play in the creek (just to the right of the boat landing). We even tubed with the kids from the dock to the landing (far enough for us). The downstairs area is great for friends to gather around a giant sized Jenga game. As you can tell, we absolutely love this house. The only recommendations I have for the new owners are: I miss the shelves of books, remove the computer desk or open up the other closet for guest use, and you were missing a large cooking pot (maybe stolen?) for crabs and shrimp. And, speaking of shrimp, look for the shrimp man in front of Pawleys supply. The best she - crab soup is from the Chive Blossom cafe and wonderful cinnamon rolls from PI Bakery.
